The Disinformation anthology "Everything You Know is Wrong: The Disinformation Guide to Secrets and Lies", edited by Russ Kick and featuring libertarians, has hit the big time.

As Russ explains, "Hold on to your hats. The Quality Paperback Book Club (QPB) is offering Everything You Know Is Wrong as its main selection this month. The new catalogs are starting to arrive, and sure enough, there it is.

Russ continues,

"Nobody is more surprised than I am that the second-largest book club in the country is offering both anthologies I edited for Disinfo. The first shocker came in last year when QPB said they wanted to carry You Are Being Lied To. I was sort of prepared when they wanted to offer EYKIW, but I was again blown away when they said it would be a main selection.

"Apparently these books sell very well for them. This is fantastic, since it means that a whole lot of people who probably would never have known about the book will now be reading it. Just think of all those minds absorbing all that subversive information......"

A number of libertarians are featured in the anthology, including me (prostitution and pornography), John Taylor Gatto (history of American education), Dominick T. Armentano (the monopoly myth), Peter Breggin (drugging children), and Thomas Szasz (on mental illness). Way to go Russ!

The man has also started a new Website, The Memory Hole devoted to rescuing knowledge and freeing information. Russ solicits the submission of documents -- so compile your list of endangered information. BTW, Russ' site is distinct from the identically named one operated by libertarian Alan Koontz, which is also worth a good browse.
